Lauren is contactable from 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday and available for large animal visits Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and some Saturdays by appointment.

Hendra Virus & Safety
Your horse’s health and safety are my top priorities, and so is my own. While I respect your right to choose whether to vaccinate, I also must prioritize my safety and legal responsibilities as a veterinarian.

Coffs Harbour is considered a Hendra hot zone, with multiple large bat colonies and confirmed cases occurring south of us. If your horse is sick and unvaccinated, my ability to provide treatment is legally limited. The best way to protect both your horse and those who care for them is through proactive risk management.

Emergency Services
I am committed to providing ongoing emergency veterinary care for the horses of the Coffs Harbour area in a way that is both sustainable and effective. To continue offering these services, I must also prioritize my own well-being.

I have been actively working on building a reliable after-hours support system. At this time, emergency services will be prioritized for current clients. To ensure your horse is at the front of the queue, I require at least one annual exam to keep their records up to date.

Additionally, I am exploring telemedicine options for current clients, offering guidance and support when an in-person visit may not be immediately necessary. If you have any questions about after-hours care, please feel free to reach out.
